The beach, main tourist attraction

Icici-main beach

The main tourist attraction is certainly a beach. It is in the very center of the place, consisting of a concrete and sandy part. Each year, it is investing in beach decoration, which makes that the beach receives a blue flag year after year. The entrance is free and accessible to everyone.

The beach has bordered on one side with ACI Marina. While on the other side there is a smaller port that exists since the Ičići exists. And which developed parallel to the place. This port accepts smaller boats and reminds that Icici is a coastal place.

It is particularly important to emphasize that the famous Lungomare, a coastal promenade built by Austrian emperor Franjo Josip I. in 1885, passes through Icici. This beautifully landscaped promenade is 12 km long and stretches from Volosko to Lovran, and Icici is almost halfway. At night it is discreetly illuminated so the conditions for romantic walks are there. The place of Ičići has a connection with other places with intercity and city buses.

In the seaside resorts, during the summer months, there are “Fishermen’s Festive”. So Icici has its own festive for which locals and tourists are notified several days earlier through numerous posters.
